LeriQ’s musical journey began at the young age of 13 in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, in a household filled with music. Growing up with five brothers and the influence of his graphic artist father, LeriQ developed an early appreciation for the arts. His passion for music was sparked by an encounter with one of his father’s friends, who was a producer. This meeting introduced him to the concept of recording, overlaying, and creating music, which ignited his lifelong passion for music production.
In addition to his work in music, LeriQ is the founder of Arical Valuables Collective, a pioneering platform aimed at curating African content for the metaverse. The collective is focused on bringing African creators—across art, music, and other mediums—into the digital space, allowing them to share their work with a global audience.
