Initially recorded in their raw, often abrasive forms—filled with noise from sirens, machinery, air traffic, and even coyotes—these urban sounds are reshaped through extensive experimental sound design techniques, creating a unique listening experience.

Magnetic Tape Processing: After capturing the sounds, they were recorded onto magnetic 1/4 inch tape. By manipulating the tape speed and making looping recordings, the sounds became more organic and warm. This added a layer of character to the samples that was absent in their raw form.
