DJ Sappo’s collection features his trademark sounds, utilized in some of his biggest hits from the 90s through the noughties and into the present day. His tracks have been released on esteemed labels such as Flex, Intalex, V Records, Emotif, Rinse Out, and Formation.
Every sound in this collection has been expertly designed and programmed using his original hardware samplers, including the Akai S950, Yamaha A3000, and Roland MV8800. These samples have been meticulously re-mastered in his cutting-edge analog mastering studio, employing specialized valve compressors, EQs, and pristine converters to ensure top-notch quality.
DJ Sappo: A Renowned Veteran
With over 20 years of experience as a DJ, sound engineer, and producer, DJ Sappo is celebrated as a pioneer in the Jungle and Drum & Bass scene. Specializing in DnB, Jungle, Bass music, Urban, and Dance, his original, rolling, and punchy tracks have garnered widespread acclaim. DJ Sappo’s contributions have been recognized by BBC Radio 1, where he became part of the BBC 1xtra team, hosting the first national 4-hour Jungle/DnB radio show.
Sappo has performed at top events globally and has released music with some of the world’s leading dance labels, selling over 250,000 vinyl records through V Records, Frontline Records, World Dance, Intalex, Flex Records, and Rinse Out. He has also remixed tracks for prominent artists, including Roni Size and was the first producer to feature MCs Bassman, Spyda, and Trigga on tracks (now known as Shadow Demon Coalition). His latest album preview mix on YouTube DnB TV has amassed over 350,000 plays.
