Komorebi Audio presents Ambient Jazz & Hip Hop – a unique sample pack that blends ethereal, trippy vibes with the soulful sound of boombap and hip hop beats. Designed for producers looking to infuse their tracks with a laid-back, otherworldly atmosphere, this pack offers a combination of jazz-inspired drums with the mixing and processing techniques of classic hip hop.

The drums in this pack seamlessly merge jazz and hip hop, featuring a mix of punchy and smooth elements designed for soulful boombap beats. The melodic elements offer nostalgic, warm textures, creating a lush sonic foundation for your drum patterns to ride over.

Each sound has been carefully crafted by veteran UK musicians Alexander Bennett (Keys), Luke Stenner (Bass), and Adam Hayes (Drums). The vintage suitcase electric piano was mic’d using a pencil condenser mic on each speaker for stereo clarity, paired with an AKG C414 to capture the instrument’s warmth and depth. Drums were recorded with an AKG C414 for ambient room sound, an SM7B on the kick, an SM57 on the snare, and dual overhead mics to capture width and sizzle. The bass was DI’d and enhanced with onboard preamp saturation to provide a clean, stable low end.
