About Ana Barreiro:
Originally from Poços de Caldas, a town in the Southeast of Brazil, Ana has learned from some of the most influential music educators across Brazil and the US. She currently teaches at institutions like Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, Stanford Jazz Camp, and Jazz Camp West in California. Throughout her career, she has performed with prominent artists like Catina deLuna, Otmaro Ruiz, Carol Bach-y-rita, and Thalma de Freitas, among others. She has graced stages at renowned events including the Washington Women in Jazz Festival, Stanford Jazz Festival, and Monterey Jazz Festival.
