Tokzhan Karatai is dedicated to preserving and innovating the traditional kobyz through her performances and education. With her extensive study of folk music and passion for experimental classical compositions, Tokzhan brings a unique perspective to the instrument, blending cultural heritage with modern experimentation.
This pack is primarily focused on traditional Kazakh music, with the kobyz imitating totem animals such as horses and swans, encapsulating the spirit of Kazakh culture. Recorded in Ankara and produced by Found Sound Nation, the pack offers authentic and inspiring sounds for your compositions.
The pack was edited and mixed by Christopher Botta, with a demo track provided by Marcio Zygmunt (Marcioz).
