Loopmasters have dedicated weeks to restoring an original late 70s, 73-key Classic Electric Piano Mk1, ensuring that every detail of this iconic instrument shines through. From the tines and hammer tips to the felts and key-beds, every element has been painstakingly refurbished to deliver the authentic sound of the 70s.
Authentic Vintage Sound
Once restored, the Classic Electric Piano was multi-sampled through classic Neve 1073 preamps, creating a pure vintage signal path. The recordings were captured using high-end A/D converters from Universal Audio, ensuring pristine audio quality. The result is a rich, soulful sound that reflects the essence of the beloved MK1.
Versatile Multi-Sampling
This collection features up to six layers of velocity-sensitive multi-samples, capturing everything from delicate tones to the raspy overload of pickups when pushed to their limits. Additionally, Loopmasters re-sampled the instrument through the same signal path, introducing a Thermionic Culture Vulture for a grittier version, enriched with warm valve saturation and distortion.
Inspiring Loops and Shots
With over 300 ready-to-drop loops and single-shot chords recorded at 24-Bit/44.1 kHz, this collection spans tempos from 110 to 127 BPM, offering a wide array of styles—from deep and smooth to funky and jazzy. The loops are organized into themed folders, providing a broad tonal range that includes both classic clean sounds and processed variations, featuring progressions, lead solos, and hooks that you can revisit time and again.
